ADMISSION POLICY & PROCEDURE

Welcome and thank you for your interest in our school. Divya Bala Vidyalayam accepts candidates on a rolling admissions basis. This rolling admissions approach allows students to apply for, and receive admission at any time in the school year. We encourage you to visit Divya Bala Vidyalayam so that you may experience our excellent academic programs, student-friendly facilities, diverse student and faculty body, and extracurricular programs. Our Admissions Coordinator will gladly assist you and answer your questions.

The Admissions process at DBV is designed to be as efficient and positive as possible for all applying students. All applicants who are admitted to DBV are expected to function within the regular classroom.

Application forms will be issued by the school office for classes where seats are available, on payment of the prescribed fee.

Timings: 10-00 a.m. and 3-00 p.m. on the dates notified.

LKG: JUNE

Classes I – IX & X: Subject to vacancies. Enquiries will be entertained around MAY

Completed application forms should be submitted with all the enclosures and prescribed registration fee on or before the date specified by the School. The Registration fee once paid will not be refunded or adjusted for any other purpose. Mere Registration is no guarantee for admissions

Age for Admissions

  • LKG : 3 years and above
  • UKG : 4 years and above
  • Class I : 5 years and above

The age is reckoned as on 31st March of the year of admission.

Documents to be submitted

  • Completed Application Form.
  • Passport size photo of the student should be pasted in the form.
  • Copy of Birth Certificate from Panchayat/ Municipal Corporation. (Bring original certificate for verification and it will be returned).
  • If sibling case (own brothers and sisters), Xerox copy of sibling’s school ID card has to be enclosed.
  • Guardian certificate (if applicable).
  • Certificate of caste / Physically Challenged (SC/BC/ST/PC) (if applicable).
  • Copy of residence proof of present address (like Telephone bill, Electricity Bill, Passport).
  • Copy of Aadhar Card (Child, Father, Mother). Blood group report of the child

Admission Committee and decision-making process:​

The Admission Committee is comprised of the School Management, Head of School, Admission Manager and the Pedagogical Leadership Team. The final decision on all applications rests with the Head of School. From the time, an interaction session is completed, the Admissions Committee aims to return a decision within one week, pending any further follow-up that may be required.
