Christmas Celebration 2021

Report on Christmas celebration at Divya Bala Vidyalayam– Anajipuram-Bhongir
Christmas brings cheer and love and we celebrated it with the same fervor, spreading the message of love and joy among all the inmates of Divyabala. The very presence of Rev. Fr. Kata Rajulu and Christmas message added boost to the celebration. It was organized on 21st December 2021. The celebration was held in our school auditorium. The entire auditorium was beautifully decorated with flowers, festivals, lights, posters, and models. All the students and faculty members were very excited and full of enthusiasm for the celebration. A crib was made by the Hostel students. The crib was really realistic which brought back the nativity scene of Bethlehem live on our stage.

There were a variety of performances, enacting the birth of Christ, dances the best being the Carol songs performed by the senior-most students. Our KG angels danced to joyful tunes. Even the Xmas trees and Santa paraded through the auditorium cheering and singing songs of Christmas, handing out small gifts and handshakes. By the end of the program, the correspondent sir, Chinnapa, principal and all the class teachers distributed cakes to all wishing them “Happy Christmas”.

Our joy was doubled when Rev. Fr. Kata Rajulu distributed Christmas gifts to the students of DBV, the students studying in colleges and to all teaching and non-teaching staff.

We thank all our sponsors of Germany who made this day a wonderful day for us. We wish you all a merry Christ mas and happy new year 2022. May god bless you all.

Teachers Day 2021

Celebrations for Teacher’s Day on September 5th, 2021
Since 1962, “Teachers’ Day” has been celebrated in India. This day commemorates the birthday of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakhrishnan, a philosopher and excellent teacher. On this day everyone commemorates this great educator.
The Teacher’s Day on September 5th is a very important day for all people in India, because the teachers are the foundation for the training and thus for the future.
At Divya Bala School, a garland was placed around the photo of Dr Sarvepalli Radhakhrishnan and coconuts were broken as a token of remembrance of him and this special day. The children had a program with different dances and two boys from the 10th grade prepared a sketch about the importance of teachers in society. The children showed their respect and gratitude to the teachers by giving small gifts and performing. Then the director spoke about the historical development and the importance of Teacher’s Day and the teachers.

1st February 2021 - School reopen

The schools in Telangana were shut down in March 2020, nearly a year ago, due to the rapid spread of the Covid-19 pandemic in the country and the nationwide lockdown imposed by the central government. Schools are reopened after long covid-19 lockdown. From 1st February 2021 the Government of Telangana has decided to reopen the schools for 9th, 10th and Intermediate. The educational institutions resumed the classes with staggered timings and restricted the maximum number of students in a class room to 20 to ensure physical distancing. Students attending classroom sessions have only been allowed to do so with the written consent of their parents. Other safety measures have also been set in places such as social distancing, sanitizers and hand-washing facilities, as part of precautions against Covid-19. Many students in Telangana expressed their joy over the reopening of schools for higher classes. Students stated that classroom lessons are necessary for higher classes in view of the upcoming board exams for this academic session.
